LGBTQ+ Spectrum of Findlay is a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Spectrum was founded in 2010 by a group of friends who shared the same common goals to build a supportive network for the LGBTQ+ community in Findlay, Ohio. In 2011 we received our non-profit status and since then we have been building on the community momentum that has propelled us into new avenues for service to our community, including the forming of support groups and the development of our Ally Directory. The values of compassion, education, respect, diversity, optimism, authenticity, unconditional love, determination, kindness, and family are extremely important and help to drive our organization forward. We provide a variety of services, resources, social events, and support to the LGBTQ+ community which are described throughout our website. We want to continue to create a Findlay that welcomes and includes all! You are welcome here! We are excited that you are taking the time to get to know us a little better and we look forward to connecting with you in the near future!

Our mission is to promote interaction between the individuals in Findlay through events and activities so that we may build a safe and supportive place for our lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community

Our vision is to create a Findlay that welcomes all walks of life no matter what age, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity.

We value compassion, education, respect, diversity, optimism, authenticity, unconditional love, determination, kindness, family and support.
